@winexviv Am so happy for this development but is there a we can add Delta State kids I will be sponsoring them if they can be given the same access to this program.
You wake up and still think this is the best man to lead a country that has one of the youngest populations in the world in 2027..
God punish you walahi...
A big shame on you and you are a complete waste of space...
This was exactly how Nigerian accents sounded until we all started wanting to sound like the British and Americans.
This was Chinua Achebe and Wole Soyinka in 1964
This is Mr. Tempo Mudi, Protocol Officer to the Delta State Governor. He was seriously beaten and injured by some youths in Delta State after stating that the Tinubuโs administration is the best thing to happen to Nigerians, during the Delta State APC Leadership Meeting at the PTI Conference Centre in Warri yesterday.
โMinister of Works, Dave Umahi, needs to be guided. He proposes building new roads when existing ones are in bad shape. Between Benin and Delta, Benin and Okenne, the roads are so bad, yet 20 new roads were approved recently.โ
โSenator Adams Oshiomole
The new tax law will be implemented completely by next year. Be ready to be losing your hard-earned money to fund their luxurious life.
Voting Tinubu out is the only remedy!
โIf you vote for me and anything goes wrong under my watch, I will not send people to explain it. I will speak directly to Nigerians, because you voted me as your President.โ

๐จ N962.83 Billion for SUVs and Empowerment Projects Exceeds the Combined Budget of Seven Key Federal Ministries in the 2026 Budget
Our review of the 2026 FG Budget uncovered another troubling pattern of opaque spending.
๐ 39 SUVs - N15.13 bn
๐ฅ 2,579 Empowerment Projects - N947.7 bn
Total: N962.83 bn
This is more than the combined N960.27bn allocation to seven key Federal Ministries:
๐ญ Industry, Trade & Investment - N156.8bn
๐๏ธ Housing - N145.3bn
๐ฉ Women Affairs - N169.39bn
โ๏ธ Justice - N150.7bn
๐ Livestock Development - N177.6bn
โ๏ธ Aviation & Aerospace Development - N87.3bn
๐ช Petroleum Resources - N73.1bn
Yet, only 70 of the 2,579 empowerment projects have clearly identified implementation locations.
This raises serious accountability concerns:
๐ How can citizens track projects with no stated location?
๐ How can oversight institutions verify implementation?
๐ฐ How can taxpayers know who ultimately benefits from these allocations?
The concerns don't end there, these projects are spread across 184 implementing agencies, many of which have no statutory mandate to execute empowerment programmes. Leading agencies ๐
๐ @fedccojiriver - 393 projects worth N127.1bn
๐ National Agricultural Development Fund - 6 projects worth N89.5bn
๐ @Fchdkgombe - 216 projects worth N88.1bn
๐ @officialfccib - 94 projects worth N36.9bn
Let us be clear, there is nothing inherently wrong with empowerment programmes! When well-designed and transparently implemented, they can improve livelihoods, create economic opportunities, and support vulnerable Nigerians.
However, experience over the years has shown that many poorly defined empowerment projects have become vehicles for political patronage, rewarding loyalists rather than delivering broad-based benefits to citizens. When projects have no clear location, no transparent beneficiary selection process, and are assigned to agencies without the appropriate mandate, public confidence is eroded, and accountability becomes difficult.
This concern is even more pressing given that the 2026 Budget is projected to be financed with a deficit of about 46%. At a time when government is borrowing heavily to fund public expenditure, every naira should be directed toward investments with clear development outcomes, measurable impact, and value for money, not opaque allocations that citizens cannot effectively track.
A budget should not only allocate resources, it should also inspire public confidence. Every budget item should have a clear purpose, a defined location, an implementing agency with the legal mandate to deliver it, identifiable beneficiaries, and measurable outcomes.
