@JayViperTV They also normalized the term "sweaty" gameplay as some sort of defense/flex from its dozens of fans. I'll never forgive Marathon for that.
@nuhre_ Scumbag CEOs really bankroll an entire studio for a decade after they release three back to back commercial failures. The nerve of this guy.
Real talk. This is the same logic as an unemployed 28 year old bitching who doesn't pay rent when their parents kick them out.
@georgebsocial Seriously, I don't have FOMO, consumer brainrot where I need the next thing. If I even smell a whiff of this narcisstic disdain shit... I am out. No buy. No I can't ignore it. Giving assholes the benefit of the doubt is how the industry got like this.
@MonsterEagle91 For a decade, EA funded BioWare through 3 consecutive commercial failures. They have not seen a profit for close to 10 years before finally closing BioWare down. Again... they kept the studio open without any return through 3 failures.
@DuckWarriorLily They objectively released 3 back to back to back commercial failures in a row. Less and less people bought their games. That is reality.
@CodyFandom_ He bankrolled BioWare through three very expensive back to back commercial failures over the course of a decade. Did you just want EA to fund them indefinitely without turning a profit?
@ComixDivision EA was too lenient with BioWare. 3 expensive commercial failures in a row over close to a decade and finally they closed it down. They allowed them all the freedom they could afford as we know Anthem was their idea and they were allowed to create characters like Taash.
@THEHELMETFIRE Let the Western AAA industry burn. They stopped making games for the audience that purchased their games.
We will still get bangers from Indies, AA, and the East. Some of those Indies and AAs will rise with successful games. This is ontop of the backlog from classics games.
