Honoured to join the team today for the official opening of our 2nd IPV location @PeelSafe , Mississauga. Expanding beyond Brampton, to bring critical, survivor-centred support closer to victims of IPV & their families. A powerful step forward for safety healing, & hope.
Very productive discussions with @Sarah_Paquet and her team from @FINTRAC_Canada. Transnational crime like organized auto theft, extortions and drug trafficking are motivated by money. Strengthening our work together will have benefits for community safety.
Our thoughts are with the @DRPS officer injured in the line of duty, their family, and the entire DRPS community. We wish the officer a swift recovery and recognize the professionalism and courage of all members involved.
Absolutely fantastic work by all the involved officers, an excellent example of how technology #ALPR#ASU is being leveraged to keep our community safe. Well done by all @NChhinzer@ChiefNish@Hiltz1847@DC_Milinovich
Thank you to the @PeelPolice members working through the holidays. While many are able to be with their families, others continue to serve our region. Your commitment to keeping our communities safe is deeply appreciated, today and always.
The Break and Enter and Auto Response (BEAR) Unit is disrupting organized property theft, and early results are showcasing meaningful outcomes for our communities.
The BEAR Unit was established in September as a pilot after a growing trend of calculated and coordinated crimes was identified in Peel, including break and enters and auto theft.
Results to date include:
•165 criminal charges laid
•21 arrests
•80 vehicles recovered
The unit has also prioritized connecting with victims to provide support, gather feedback, and build partnerships within the community. Whether it’s your home, your car, or your workplace — you and your property should be protected.
Great work by our officers in the BEAR Unit!

From the entire Strategic and Executive Services team, we wish you and your loved ones a safe, peaceful, and joyful season, and all the best in the New Year. Thank you to all @PeelPolice members working during the holidays to keep our region safe.
The Safe Centre of Peel extends our sincere gratitude to Peel Regional Police for their vision, leadership, and continued support of the Safe Centre. Their commitment to collaboration and integration plays a vital role in our shared efforts to support individuals and families.
This year the number of carjackings is down by over 20 % while the number of charges has risen. It's work like this that is responsible for both of those statistics.
Great investigation by our Robbery Bureau supported by Tactical, K9 & Air Support Unit ends in arrests.
Proud to join our @prp officers this evening. Staying connected to frontline realities matters — especially when you’re responsible for how leaders are selected, developed, and supported.
Thousands of motorists are engaged during this program to hold those that drive impaired accountable all while keeping our communities safe.
Very appreciative of our members for their commitment to road safety. Thank you for welcoming us for an evening. An additional thank you to Board Members @SumeetaKohli and Omar Khan for joining us on RIDE this year.
Yesterday, I attended the Children’s Breakfast Club Gala, an organization that has supported children for more than 20 years. Thank you to everyone who continues to support this important work. As they express so clearly, we cannot feed a hungry mind with an empty stomach!!!
Family and intimate partner violence remains a priority for @PeelPolice — and we are committed to pushing the boundaries to better protect and support victims and survivors.
The expansion of the Safe Centre of Peel with @PeelCAS and our many community partners into #Mississauga will save lives by ensuring survivors get the right supports, from the right people, at the right time. This would not be possible without the support of our community and government partners.
Another great Miracle on Main event took place this past Monday at Gateway Chevrolet, Brampton, as we continue in partnership with the @TigerSingh_Fdn to support families across Peel this holiday season.
Community members came out in support, including special guest @patrickbrownont. A fantastic day with an exciting cheque presentation for $100,000 that will go toward toys for youth and support local food banks!

Our Community Intervention and Response Team removed $1M in dangerous drugs and a loaded firearm from our streets — keeping them out of our communities. Great work by @PeelPolice 22 Division CIRT!
Thank you to the @ONgov and @TeamKerzner for your partnership and grant funding support that results in a stronger frontline, increased officer presence, and more proactive policing.
Tuesday evening was one of my favourite evenings of the year. We had the opportunity to recognize both members of the community and our service at the annual Peel Police Service Board Awards.
These awards recognize outstanding individuals and teams for their impact, within our service and across our community, that makes Peel Region safer every day.
It’s almost time! We’re once again teaming up with my brother Tiger and the @TigerSingh_Fdn for #MiracleonMain to bring more toys, food, smiles, and hope than ever before to kids and families this holiday season.
The generosity of our communities and partners continues to make a meaningful impact for those who need it most.
Together, let’s raise more than ever before!
