Another proud moment for REC!

REC Ltd. has been conferred the ‘Innovative Technology Development Award' at the 'Building India 2047: Technology for Better Tomorrow', an IIT Madras CSR Summit. The award recognised REC's CSR initiative of installing a 2 MW roof-top solar plant at @iitmadras. The solar plant generates around 3.15 million units of clean energy every year, thus helping IIT Madras reduce its carbon footprint.

Smt. Taruna Gupta, Executive Director (#CSR), and Smt. Thara Ramesh, CPM, #REC, Regional Office Chennai, received the award on behalf of REC. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. @ptrmadurai , Hon'ble Minister of @TNITDepartment , and Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, who applauded REC's commitment to sustainable development goals.

दिनांक 2 से 9 फरवरी, 2024 तक #बेंगलुरू के प्रतिष्ठित श्री जयप्रकाश नारायण राष्ट्रीय युवा प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में जूनियर एवं सब-जूनियर पुरूष एवं महिला वर्ग के खिलाड़ियों के लिए खेलो इंडिया आरईसी ओपन टैलेंट हंट प्रोग्राम का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतिभावान एवं उभरते हुए मुक्केबाजों को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में पुरुष एवं महिला वर्ग के युवा खिलाड़ियों की उपलब्धियों को प्रदर्शित करने का प्रयास किया गया। 9 फरवरी, 2024 को भव्य समापन समारोह के दौरान सफल प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार वितरित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बेंगलुरू स्थित क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय के अधिकारीगण भी उपस्थित रहे।
