Deep State warmongers and their Propaganda Media are again trying to undermine President Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Ukraine—and indeed Europe—by falsely claiming that the ‘U.S. intelligence community’ agrees to and supports EU/NATO viewpoint that Russia’s aim is to invade/conquer Europe (in order to gin up support for their pro-war policies). The truth is that ‘US intelligence’ assesses that Russia does not even have the capability to conquer and occupy Ukraine, what to speak of ‘invading and occupying’ Europe.
@rtenews They backed off the consequences of stealing the Russian money, (good). But they saddled EU taxpayers with a massive debt (bad), except for Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Their leaders refused to join in and protected their countries from this debt. Not Ireland though.
@rtenews The stupidity of this is astounding: Russian retaliation (seizing far larger Western assets in Russia), multibillion-dollar lawsuits against Euroclear, potential long-term damage to the euro's status as a reserve currency, and further escalation in an already dangerous conflict.
I have never understood this fluffy passion for the BBC. It is a state-funded, state-structured, state-influenced public monopoly — marketed as “independent” to preserve credibility at home and soft power abroad. It has never been independent.
@TheSilverCloak In the absence of something intelligent to say you resort to name calling. Which rather well defines your incredibly limited brain capacity. You sad person.
@timfarron @JasonReidUK And you will have that bridge for a very long time. Go campaign for all football hooligans to be banned then if that’s what you really believe, and that’s a big if.
@jonsopel I guess if you adopt the impartial approach that a football thug is a football thug regardless of which country they’re from, then the optics are pretty good. Ban the lot of them.
But if you single out one group for preferential treatment which you appear to be doing ..
The screaming from politicians and others about the banning of Maccabi Tel Aviv fans just demonstrates their total moral bankruptcy, and the degree to which they are truly unfit to lead the people of the UK. Ordinary people deserve so much better than this bunch of charlatans.
Whether we’re talking domestic or foreign policy we have over the last number of decades produced politicians who routinely lie to us, deceive us and take actions that are rarely in our best interests. Politics was never a good profession but it is now certainly rancid.
@mamascasauk @ScotParl@MentalWelfare@_MarcelloMega@alzheimerssoc@Lawscot@agescotland No UK govt ever voluntarily took action on elder abuse, they only did the minimal they could get away with in response to lobbying and media focus. Some individual politicians were good, but without external scrutiny and pressure, which no longer happens, it’s off their agendas.
Since 2019 publicity about elder abuse has almost entirely dropped from mainstream media like BBC, Mirror, etc., not because abuse/neglect of older people in care homes/domiciliary care has stopped. It’s because it’s hidden again. I used to call it the Silent Scream of despair.
Dear @donaldtusk,
You may think that you are at war with Russia, but Hungary is not. Neither is the European Union. You are playing a dangerous game with the lives and security of millions of Europeans. This is very bad!
@robbyyy It never ceases to amaze me just how many imbeciles waste a part of their lives in making snide pathetic and small minded comments. All the while claiming intelligence. Idiot. Goodbye.
@thisisyourparty Without addressing the invidious position facing 20,000 people who signed up in good faith for membership last week, this launch is totally unacceptable in this format. At the very least you have a moral responsibility to those people. Pretending otherwise is dishonest.
@patcondell Muslims lead in philanthropy and community welfare: donate £1.79 billion yearly to charities—four times the national average—and volunteer time valued at £622 million annually, often peaking during Ramadan with £100 million raised in that month alone. Just ask Grok.
