@roybrosdrywall@curtisadamo@dreddcnc I agree there is no clear definition of fair. I'm saying that there can be other divisions than male/female that can allow them to compete (males and females together). Another pov is that hormone treatment is like steroids and therefore not fair even if it makes you weaker
@roybrosdrywall@curtisadamo@dreddcnc Who decided that in boxing and jiu jitsu there would be weight divisions, but not in swimming or running?
Some group will step up, suggesting a way they think is fair. Another group will have another approach. Try and error till something catches.
@speakup_real@jockowillink Most F3 workouts start at 5:30am. That's another hour of sleep for you. Look for a group close to you. F3 Nation Map https://t.co/AaSfbV1PdB. We have thousands of groups across the nation. And we're always free. @F3Nation
@robertjforrest Clearly I'm not saying the unborn is guilty of any crime. I'm saying ending life is sometimes acceptable (though never desired). We differenciate different types of killing too (manslaughter vs negligence) and assign different punishments. Same life, though.
@robertjforrest I understand your view point, though still disagree. Unborn is a life from a certain point. 6 weeks? 15? 21? Those are lines that society draws.
Outside of the womb we, as a society, definitely support ending a life in various circumstances. Combat, justice, self defense.
@robertjforrest You know nothing about the life, values or circumstances of others to make the choice for them. Influence, consult, educate. But don't take away their choice.
@robertjforrest Here's mine. Background: stillbirth in our past. Wife was VERY clear she'll never have an abortion.
For yourself, never have one. Teach your children to take steps (as aligned with your values) to never be at the position where it may be needed. But leave the choice to others.
@dreddcnc Also, culturally, it might be the Statist in us that leads people to obsessively follow Icons and build their whole personality around a sport player (or team), a singer, an actor, a tech giant, etc. Apple people, too.
@dreddcnc Excellent and enlightening post! Certainly refined my historical knowledge.
There are additional variations of Statists who are looking for central command at a Tribal level, either a tribe built on family relations or an organizational tribe (e.g. a mafia)
@F3Nation will tell you it always ends with a circle of trust.
That's an outright lie.
The circle of trust is merely the beginning to some of the best friendships you'll ever have. /end
@F3Nation will tell you it's always free, but they conveniently forget to tell you you'll be replacing your wardrobe yet again since you become fit but your clothes don't shrink to match. /1
@F3Nation will tell you it's peer led, in a rotating fashion. But then you realize it's really about leading your own life, all the time. It's not that you don't get a break as much as you're not looking to get one anymore. /4
