@OlegKostour@IlvesToomas@OlenaWave With the attitude like yours you will never join. It is for Ukraine to be ready and for Ukraine to understand what the EU is about. It is exactly about concessions. After the war ends you'll need to start dropping war-nationalism and think about how to best convince Europe.
@IlvesToomas It will not be them who will block it. Any Polish government will block a nationalistic Ukraine from joining EU. And a referendum for Ukraine’s accession is very likely in Poland. So far, Ukrainian government does pretty poor job to convince Poles to their case.
@vladlon2005@rzeczpospolita You're projecting. I am for Ukraine in the western strictures but only normal one, not the nationalistic one. The hard truth is you have to be grateful for our help and you have to care about what we think. Otherwise you can dream about joining EU.
@Dispropoganda The EU, and Poland in particular will not want nationalistic pro-UPA country in the EU. So, this is Ukraine's problem. Either they shed this nationalism when the peace comes or can wait next 50 years to join western structures.
Innymi slowy Ukraina moze sobie pomarzyc o wejsciu do UE.
@mdotzak@business Honour? If he cared about it he would speak out like other countries leaders did when Trump disgraced soldiers (including Polish ones). Be he kept quiet. No, this is just emotions speaking and in effect helping russian propaganda. There is no gain for Poland in that.
@mdotzak@business Zelensky doesn't have to do anything now. Nawrocki has no cards and he did jump the gun. Should have waited until Ukraine finished war and was vulnerable in their pre-accession talks with the EU. That would have been smart move, but this is Nawrocky, so hey.
@mdotzak@business I agree, but that is not a reason to give propaganda arguments to Russia. There were other ways to deal with the issue. Ways that would have shown Poland as a serious and strong European player. Nawrocky reacts like emotional child.
@InsiderGeo Nawrocki is not a diplomat and has little political experience. That shows, he just weakened Poland's position ans strengthened russian propaganda.
