When you stop reading books, you start losing verbal dexterity, depth of thought and imagination. A closed book is a closed mind. Don't EVER stop reading.
I wanted to like Best of the Best, the dances were great, but the film felt like a long lost "Never Have I Ever" episode. The same friendship drama formula
A string of characters confronting & calling each other out, one after the next. Eventually it got exhausting

@phlurx1 Same here, I tried to enjoy it but it felt like watching Devi in action again, I get the point of her trying to be the voice of reason but she was insufferable. Everything could have been easier if she just communicated when necessary and maybe....try shutting up at some point?
@AxisMundi475613@TheePopCore Out of countless songs that got released, she is fourth globally and you still think that's not worth celebrating. Evil runs deep in y'all hearts and it shows. I wonder if you even know how numbers work, that's a 4, not a 10, not even close to being the last.
@__simba10 Done her part how? All it took for her to regard him as a bf was the conversation she had with Bei about marriage. Both parties didn't communicate on what's currently eating at them; her not introducing him as his bf to his ex & y'all expect him to say yes to a bucket list?
@_iffey_xo Seeing that this is her second time of lying to him, I feel he handled it the way any boyfriend would have handled it in reality, I guess that's why I find it a bit valid. I think this issue of miscommunication would get the best of their relationship. It always starts like this.
@phindiku@harrywithdreams I feel it's not that simple, he asked her if she had been harassed, she lied, he was even the last person to know. GREEN FLAGS discourse have made people think curiousity or anger on one's behalf isn't a love language. It's natural to get mad & he did get justice for her.
He asked why his girlfriend didn't trust him enough to tell him, it's funny how y'all keep twisting his character to fit your red flag narratives from the book. You expected him to just console her without asking why she lied him to him again for the SECOND time. Red flag una!
luan nian is so manipulative bc he really got shang zhitao to apologise and learn a lesson over her own harassment, you can’t make this shit up, he’s actually nasty as hell
Manipulative sounds like a stretch but I get why y'all be seeing him as a red flag because you still think the Nian from the book is the same as the one in the movie. He was the last to know about the issue, she lied to him twice and he had to question their relationship AGAIN.

#LISA talked about how #JISOO chose to stay with her at the dorm and helped her learn Korean during her first 2–3 years in Korea.
