According to the latest audits from the NUPRC, Nigeria possesses 37.01 billion barrels of proven crude oil and condensate reserves. At the country's average production rate of roughly 1.68 million barrels per day, the mathematical "Reserves Life Index" dictates the oil will run out by approximately 2085.

But the people rarely talk about gold, they discuss crude day and night, whereas, the Central Bank of Nigeria holds $3.5 billion in official gold reserves. This equates to approximately 21.5 metric tons of monetary-grade gold, ranking Nigeria among the top 10 nations with the largest gold reserves in Africa.

Gold will never burn out or run out.
