"I have come to visit you for three critical reasons. One, for visiting me in my house during my bereavement and attending the final rites of my mother. I would have come earlier but I didn't want to come until after election because I was busy campaigning against you, I never wished you could win. Two, I came to congratulate you on victory in the last election. I do this as a democrat and a Follower of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Three, I came to thank you for endorsing my leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential election. Many thought you would renege after the election but you stood firm....."
APC National Secretary, Sen Ajibola Basiru PhD during his visit to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State today
“The beauty of democracy is that those who win today can lose tomorrow and those who lose today can win tomorrow. Those who cannot endure and accept the pains of defeat in an election today do not deserve the joy of victory tomorrow." - President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 💙

You paid Dangote when you built your house.
You paid MTN when you bought data.
You paid Zenith or GTCO every time you used your bank.
You paid BUA when you bought sugar.
You paid Nestlé when you drank Milo.
Every one of those companies is listed on the NGX.
You have been funding Nigerian business your entire adult life.

Meanwhile NELFUND in Nigeria is interest free. If you graduate with ₦500,000 debt even after 30 years your debt would still be ₦500,000. Yet some mumu say students should not be happy about taking an interest free loan.
So in this guy’s context, it’s like graduating with a loan of ₦4,700,000 in Nigeria, and after 10 years of monthly payments of ₦34,000, your loan balance is now ₦5,000,000 because ₦39,000 is being added every month due to interest.
But Nigerian students shouldn’t be happy about an interest free loan from Tinubu just because you don’t like him.
First HoldCo just crossed ₦5 trillion in market value, trading around ₦112 in midday trading, up from ₦105 yesterday.
Two days ago it was ₦4.80tn.
The driver is the H1 results. Gross earnings ₦1.93tn, profit before tax up 83.5% to ₦653.5bn.
Six months ago everyone called this a struggling bank.
Results move prices. Everything else is noise.
The gap between broke and wealthy is rarely income. It is knowledge. One man earns for thirty years and never learns what compound interest does, or what his pension is actually invested in. Another spends a few months learning it and quietly outperforms him for life. Nobody teaches this in school, and your employer has no reason to. Earning money and understanding money are two different skills, and only one of them compounds.
Instead of building a house of ₦100m, if you invest it in a money market fund and earn ₦17m yearly, you can fund your rent fee with ₦7m and spend ₦10m on your building every year.
Your ₦100m remains intact, your rent fee is paid and your building project continues.
