@tutututuulip And of course, all you have to do to deserve such a man is to just *exist* because posessing female parts apparently makes you special.
Bunch of awful, mediocre, self-immersed, boring people who have never been told that you actually need to work to get whatever it is you want.
I have been tagged to this post several times today. I took my time to get clarity on how to put my words together.
I noticed how many of you were bashing brother Tes_Tes @da_tesleem because he said as Muslims, we do not baffle when the Almighty makes a command. I wonder if many of the so-called Muslims today really understand Islam.
Allah says in the Quran in Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 36:
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ ِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُّبِينًا
"It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error."
This is the baseline. Total submission.
The counter-argument that Islam allows asking questions is an ignorant take in this scenario. Look at her post. Does it look like someone who is asking to learn? In Arabic rhetoric and Quranic Tafseer, there is a concept called Istifham Inkari. It is a questioning style used to express rejection, denial, or disapproval.
She is not seeking knowledge. It is an arrogant way of questioning the rationale behind the command of the Prophet (peace be upon him). If this is your posture towards Islam, you are walking on a very dangerous path.
Yes, Islam encourages seeking rational conviction. The proper way to do this is to ask questions to uncover the Hikmah (wisdom) behind a ruling so your heart finds tranquility. Prophet Ibrahim asked Allah how He resurrects the dead, not out of doubt, but to reassure his heart.
You do not demand the wisdom as a condition for your obedience. You obey first, then you seek the wisdom to strengthen your faith. This is should be your modus operandi.
If she genuinely wanted to learn, she would have framed it differently. She could have asked: "What is the Hikmah behind the Prophet forbidding black dye? I want to understand my religion better." Or she could have said: "Can someone explain the scholarly reason why black dye is haram while other colors are allowed?" That is how a Muslim who is seeking knowledge asks questions.
Now, let us discuss why the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited black dye. I am sharing this with a strict disclaimer. I am not giving you this wisdom so you can make your intellect the yardstick for accepting the Sunnah.
We do not put the Prophet's commands on trial until our brains agree with them. A fundamental pillar of being a Muslim is Iman bil Ghaib (belief in the unseen) and Tasleem (complete, unquestioning submission). We hear and we obey.
The rationale behind the prohibition is rooted in preventing deception. When Abu Quhafah was brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with his hair completely white, the Prophet commanded them to change it but strictly avoid black.
Eminent scholars have broken this down. Imam An-Nawawi in his well-known book Sharh Sahih Muslim explains that dyeing hair black is forbidden because it involves Tadlees (deception and fraud). It creates a false illusion of youth and alters the reality of aging.
Ibn Qudamah also corroborated this in his book Al-Mughni, stating that avoiding black dye prevents deceiving others, which is highly critical in social and legal dealings like marriage proposals. Using other colors like pure henna or katam changes the gray without faking youthfulness.
We must curb this modern nonsense of hiding behind "I am just asking questions" to challenge the Shariah. Submit completely or stop playing games with your faith.
Allah knows best.
In 2020, @DONJAZZY did a scholarship on @AltSchoolAfrica that covered part of the school fees for alot of people.
The people who got it then have graduated now and they all have a global Diploma in different tech fields.
I’m not DonJazzy but I want to do this again…
If you need me to pay 40% of your school fees just like DonJazzy did, do the following.
1. RT this tweet.
2. Send your email address, phone number and the tech field you want to go via DM to @hacksultan_ea (this is my account too)
I’m picking 300 people for this.
You can check https://t.co/zq4olPHjvi to see the list of tech courses available.
