Dan & Phil have said that they want to be “as gay as possible” when they go back on tour for the first time after revealing their romantic relationship in October last year.
Speaking to Variety on 29 June, Dan Howell and Phil Lester shared some teasers about their upcoming tour, ‘Hard Launch’.
“We just want to be as gay as possible and create as many queer, inclusive spaces where people can have a good time, because I think the world needs that at the moment,” Lester said. “We’re always going to do something extra and theatrical.”
“We’re doing the most,” Howell added. “We’ve set the bar way too high and that’s a problem that our accountant has to deal with.”

Dan Howell says making content “feels so different” after he and Phil Lester confirmed — after 16 years of speculation — that they’ve been together since they started making videos in 2009.
“Living with this secret, having this wall up between ourselves and the audience and feeling like there’s something to be afraid of, has just felt like this barrier the whole time. And now, for that to be knocked down… we experienced something similar when we came out, and we didn’t realize that us just being able to talk about our lives and the fact that we’re together is such a big part of that.”
