This is Tamara Blessing Kabura.

She was 7 years old. She was from Nyeri Town.
Tamara went missing over the weekend, with her missing poster being circulated online. She had last been seen at the New Open Air Market in Nyeri.

People had been searching for her, and her body was found. She had been raped, murdered, and buried in a popular "bebabeba" man's house. (Bebabeba are the people who pull trolleys or carry goods.)

Her lifeless body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem, and the suspect was arrested.

Nyeri Town erupted into riots, with residents demanding that the suspect be handed over to them as they don’t trust the justice system. The police had to use tear gas to disperse the crowds.

Why don’t Kenyans trust the justice system, huh?
