In efforts to support the localization and implementation of the national recommendations developed by the Presidential-appointed Technical Working Group on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), including femicide, Access to Medicines Platform (AtMP) today convened key stakeholders in Kakamega County for a #GBV Accountability and Action Meeting.
The engagement marks a critical step toward translating national commitments into county-level action by fostering dialogue among key actors, identifying priority actions, and strengthening accountability mechanisms for GBV prevention and response. The outcomes and proposed actions from this initial stakeholder engagement will inform a subsequent high-level meeting with county executives to secure ownership, funding, strengthen coordination and accelerate implementation of the recommendations at county level. @UrgentAct
