WE WILL NOT BE SILENT
A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye
There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude.
There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty.
There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation.
This is such a time.
We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends.
We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations.
The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention.
A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future.
A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence.
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader.
He is not merely a denomination head.
He is not merely a respected minister.
He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church.
We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed.
We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history.
We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God's servants.
Scripture records how King Saul pursued David.
Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God.
Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices.
Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose.
The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked.
Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them.
Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.
Tinubu leads - We follow.
The barking of a dog does not disturb the flight of the eagle. Tinubu leads, and we follow with pride.
Bring your blackmail. Package your mischief. Broadcast your propaganda. Peddle your fake news. Sharpen every bullying tactic in your arsenal. They are not enough to make us abandon a road that has been tested by fire and proven by time.
Calm Nerves... The master builder is at work. The foundations of our land are being reset, and even now, the blueprint reveals the silhouette of a glorious dawn.
Good Evening Severally...
You know, it’s always funny when people portray Obi’s parting ways with PDP and ADC as his being “principled” and refusal to participate in evil politics, because last time I checked, he didn’t leave any of those parties because of their corruption, he left when he realized he wasn’t going to benefit from it.
Peter Obi was in PDP for years, he was well aware of the “dirt and corruption” involved, yet he stayed, his “principles” didn’t make him leave, not until he lost out on the benefit he sought to get from the party, the Presidency ticket.
Same thing happened with ADC when he went back to his vomit to align with the individuals he claimed to have left as a result of their “corruption”, so many people said that nobody who was actually principled against corruption will align with El Rufai, Atiku, Dino Melaye, Malami etc, every single one of them were labelled “APC/BAT/RONU” supporters.
He was both unprincipled and a terrible politician because it was not just obvious that joining with such contradicts the ideology of someone principled against corruption, but it was also obvious that joining was a futile attempt because there was no way he was going to beat Atiku at his corrupt game. But what did he do? He went head on.
Now, he didn’t leave ADC as a result of the corruption he saw there, as whenever he was asked about the moral bankruptcy of the corrupt politicians he aligned with, he said “we are the same” and consistently refused to comment on it, but the moment he realized that the corruption in that party was going to lead to him not being Presidential candidate, he left, wasting so much time.
Someone took a mic and said “Church take back your country” in one election, only to partner with the biggest persecutors of the church, El Rufai, Kwakwanso who passed Sharia Law in Kano, or we don’t know what principles are anymore??
A person who had over 6 Million votes with an unpopular party, had 4 Years to build on that momentum in that party, failed to build the party, ran on the first encounter of storm and 3 Years later, found himself in the very same low-level-party position he was in the last election is not just an unprincipled politician but a terrible one.
@Mrczar_ The Igbos are pushing lots of false narratives, for people without origin.
They don't even know their origin. Now claiming that South-south doesn't exist on compass.
Igbos that can do anything for money. Even deny their fellow Igbo, saying Ebonyi is not Igbo enough.
@Starcobaba You will be ok someday, maybe not today.
Save all these things, because when the day to answer comes, it'll be just you and you alone. X money, mob friends and leaders you're working for won't be there for you.
Dear AY Tragedian @AYCOMEDIAN and @iamnasboi
Have you heard that @OfficialDSSNG has apprehended five agents of darkness - terrorists linked to the barbaric attack on St. Mary's Catholic School, Papiri Village, Niger State, where nearly 300 students and staff were abducted?
Why are you quiet brothers?
For he who only sings dirges for losses but refuses to ring bells for victories is dancing dangerously close to the side of those who profit from the losses.
Why is it that some people become town criers when disaster strikes, but suddenly lose their voices when justice answers back?
Why does it appear that your drums beat loudest for calamity, yet fall strangely silent at the sound of victory?
Why does it appear that you tend to applaud the criminal's successful operations through your empty noise disguised as advocacy and develop sadness when our valiant troops neutralize their threats?
The man who announces every funeral but never celebrates a birth has chosen sorrow as a profession
Where is your tweet? Where is your voice? Where is your Noise?
True patriotism cannot be a one-way street paved only with grievances. A patriot mourns the fallen and applauds the defenders. A patriot condemns the crime and celebrates the capture of the criminal. Anything less raises questions.
Listen to this Guys:
They who only mourn the losses but refuse to celebrate the victories are no better than the wolves who caused the bleeding.
Good Evening Severally...
The lies have gone on long enough. It stops now!!!
For far too long, Pastor E.A. Adeboye and The Redeemed Christian Church of God have been subjected to false narratives, deliberate misrepresentations, and misleading commentaries driven by personal interests and agenda setting.
Let it be clearly stated: Pastor Adeboye and The RCCG will not be defined by falsehood, and neither will the Church remain silent while inaccurate narratives are repeatedly circulated as facts.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God has designated channels and authorized representatives responsible for communicating official positions on behalf of the Church. Therefore, before accepting, sharing, or amplifying any claim concerning Pastor E.A. Adeboye or The RCCG, verify it through our official public relations platform, @rccg_pr.
In life, if you do good, people will complain, if you do bad, they will complain. So, just focus and do your thing. Don't let anyone gaslight you into following their narratives.
Daddy Adeboye was President of PFN from 1992 to 1995. That was the last time he held a leadership position in PFN, and he has never been President of CAN.
There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding regarding his involvement in past national protests.
At the time in question, the nationwide protest was not called by Pastor Adeboye personally. It was a position taken by Christian leadership structures, particularly PFN and CAN, which serve as umbrella bodies representing many Christian ministries and denominations across Nigeria.
So when I come online and see many young people attacking Pastor Adeboye over a protest he joined many years ago, I honestly find it surprising.
Pastor Adeboye and his ministry are members of PFN and CAN, just as many churches and ministries across Nigeria are. Participating in an action endorsed by these bodies is not the same thing as personally calling for it.
So I am yet to understand why the blame is being directed at Papa Adeboye. Did he call for the protest? No. In fact, he was not even part of the leadership of CAN and therefore was not in a position to make such a decision on behalf of the organization.
Most importantly, Pastor Adeboye is now over 84 years old. One thing that concerns me about our generation is how quickly we abandon basic respect and civility. What exactly is the expectation here? That an 84-year-old man should be leading street protests today?
If you genuinely believe that is reasonable, would you make the same demand of your own father at that age? If another protest is called tomorrow, will you be comfortable asking your grandfather to stand on the frontlines?
Pastor Adeboye has also never instructed his church members to vote for any particular political party or candidate. Throughout the years, he has maintained an apolitical posture. If anyone has credible evidence of him openly endorsing a political candidate or directing members to vote for one, I'll bring down this post.
Pastor Adeboye is not your problem. The person you voted for to protect your life is in Aso Rock. You didn't elect Pastor Adeboye to provide security, electricity, jobs, roads, healthcare, or economic policies for you. Channel your energy toward the right source.
@DejiAdesogan The President has his own team while the VP has his own.
The team responsible for the VP heard the shots earlier & swung into action. Remember that one of the officers was already standing in front of the president before the president even realized what happened.
@Anthony53334440@GeneralSnow_ Thank you for having a brain, it's easy for you to say your mind when it comes to tackling Christianity and their leaders but hard for you to speak same way about the Islamic leaders.
Maybe your brain is one sided ?
@Proway1001@GeneralSnow_ You're entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. That's how democracy work. But once I don't subscribe to your school of thought, I am brainwashed and deceived. I salute you for your all knowing.
