The problem of some of the Efulefu Biafrans was that when Onyendu was taken away, they were busy gossiping and fighting PM and never knew or followed the changes, programs and structures PM put in place for our full freedom restoration and plans to ward off the reintegrated terrorists from the Nigeria state.

Now PM was taken, they thought that all of a sudden, they will jump all the good works, plans, structures of PM and go back to what they were saying or doing with Onyendu.

It does not work that way. Our freedom is a CONTINUUM.

The Government of the United States of Biafra (Successor to the Republic of Biafra) expresses its profound appreciation for the adoption of Motion No. 186 of 2026 by the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo, Federative Republic of Brazil, honoring the Day of Heroes and Heroines of Biafra and recognizing the historical sacrifices, resilience, and struggle of the Biafran people.

This historic act represents a significant gesture of remembrance, solidarity, and respect for the principles of justice, human dignity, and the right of peoples to self-determination. We welcome this recognition and commend the State of São Paulo for its commitment to preserving historical truth and for affirming the distinct identity, nationality, and historical continuity of the Biafran people.

The principles reflected in this motion are consistent with established international legal instruments, including:

- The Charter of the United Nations, particularly the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.
- The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), Article 1.
- United Nations General Assembly Resolution A/RES/80/106.
- The Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States (1933), which outlines the classical criteria for statehood under international law.
- The United States of Biafra Lahti Declaration of 29 November 2024.
- The United States of Biafra Sovereign Mandate 2026.

The Government of the United States of Biafra further acknowledges the historic relationship between the peoples of Brazil and Biafra, a bond rooted in shared human experiences, cultural connections, and mutual respect. The reference within the motion to the historic visit of Pelé and Santos Futebol Clube during the Biafran genocide serves as a reminder of the enduring connection between our peoples.

As we move forward, the United States of Biafra looks forward to constructive engagement and future diplomatic, cultural, humanitarian, educational, and economic cooperation with government of Brazil. Such cooperation would strengthen the longstanding friendship between our peoples and contribute to peace, mutual understanding, and international partnership.

The Government of the United States of Biafra calls upon governments, parliaments, international organizations, civil society institutions, and defenders of human rights worldwide to continue supporting the universal principles of justice, historical remembrance, and the right of peoples to determine their political future.
