Downloaded a PDF.
Now you need to sign it—without printing and scanning it.

Omarchy’s upcoming app, Signed, is built for that moment.

Open the PDF, place your signature, add the date, and save a signed copy.

Your original stays untouched.

It also lets you add text where a form needs your name or other details.

@omarchy says Signed will replace Xournal++ for this job in the next version. It isn’t the stable default yet, and password-protected PDFs aren’t supported.

What’s the last document you had to print just to sign?

These steps are checked against the current Omarchy manual. Super usually means your Windows key; custom keybindings may differ.

Installed Omarchy… now what?

Your desktop can copy text from screenshots, send files to your phone and type what you say.

@NetworkChuck’s 50-feature walkthrough is a great starting point. Here are 5 useful features to try first:

Stop retyping text from images

Press Super + Ctrl + Print Screen and select the text you need. Omarchy extracts it so you can paste it elsewhere.

Useful for an error message, a screenshot or a slide.

Send files straight to your phone

Press Super + Ctrl + S to open LocalSend sharing.

Install LocalSend on your phone and connect both devices to the same network. Send that screenshot without emailing it to yourself.

Give your favourite website its own window

Super + Space → Install → Web App.

Add a name and URL. You get an app launcher entry and a separate window for a site you use every day.

Speak instead of typing

Open the Omarchy menu → Install → AI → Dictation.

After setup, hold F9 and speak into the active text field. Voxtype runs locally by default.

Useful for getting a rough idea down before editing it.

Keep a terminal one shortcut away

Super + Alt + S moves the active window to the scratchpad.

Super + S brings it back over whichever workspace you’re using. Press again to hide it.

Try one today. Which would save you the most hassle: text extraction, file sharing or dictation?

Omarchy running on a PlayStation 4 🎮🐧

@meerzulee got it working on real PS4 hardware, no VM, and it runs stable.

The PS4 has an AMD x86 chip, so a full Linux desktop fits. DHH called it "so damn cool" 🤘

Weirdest machine you've run Omarchy on? 👇

[Omarchy Updates @OmarchyUpdates]

@notcalmerecentl i use stage manager most the time though.

You remember the window.
You forgot which workspace it's on.

So you start switching desktops, looking for it.

Panorama by İlkay Dinç gives Omarchy a visual overview of your workspaces, with actual window previews.

After installing the community plugin:
→ Double-tap Super
→ Browse the workspace previews
→ Select a window and press Enter

You're back where you wanted to be.

Super = Windows key.

It requires Omarchy 4. The creator has tested a single monitor; multiple monitors and fractional scaling remain untested.

@Xabaras_it did you find a way to fix it.

[Omarchy Updates @OmarchyUpdates]

@ukLbfv8xBsQmZRF @erikrjohansson same here. keyboard has a swag.

[Omarchy Updates @OmarchyUpdates]

Launch any app on your Omarchy machine without touching the keyboard.🥸

If you spend most of your time on the mouse, reaching for a shortcut breaks your flow.

@erikrjohansson's Mouse Hotkey Wheel puts your apps and actions in a ring around your cursor.

His 20-second demo shows the whole loop: hold middle-click, the wheel opens, point at an app, release to launch it. Terminal, files, screenshot, clipboard and play/pause are all on the wheel.

Try this first: hold middle-click, point at Terminal, release.

It's a community project, not part of Omarchy itself. Install steps and the repo link are in Erik's reply under his post.

Which action would you put on your wheel first?

[Paolo Montalto @Xabaras_it]

@OmarchyUpdates Immediately started using it!

[Omarchy Updates @OmarchyUpdates]

@notcalmerecentl Drag an app straight into a workspace would be wild 🔥
That's a great one for the Panorama dev, İlkay Dinç.

Would you use it more for launching apps or moving windows around?

[Omarchy Updates @OmarchyUpdates]

@nepavalley Good question. Right now it's single page / all pages at once.
Would a "stamp on every page" option be useful for you?
