This week, I asked for unanimous passage of my Stop Insider Trading Act. Senate Democrats blocked it – again. This bill would prevent congressional insider trading. Members wouldn’t be able to buy stocks while in office. It would also require Members to disclose plans to sell stock to the public seven days in advance. It’s commonsense legislation to restore integrity in Congress. We need to pass it into law.
