The United States holds roughly 7–8% of the world’s proven natural gas reserves which ranks us about 4th or 5th globally in terms of reserves.

But we produce over 25–26% of total global supply each year which is far more than any other country.

Why/How? Because innovators and risk-takers figured out how to break the code to dozens of different shale formations all across the USA.

The rest of the world turns to US producers for expertise and know-how because we are simply the best at it.

The launch of TXSE further cements Texas as a financial powerhouse and a serious challenger to New York as the nation's financial capital.

Texas earned this moment by embracing lower taxes, lighter regulation, and, perhaps most importantly, better governance laws and more favorable proxy rules designed to make the state the best place in America to do business.

But Texans should remember, the very companies (like @BlackRock, @JPMorgan, @BankofAmerica, and more) helping to finance an alternative finance hub in response to a politicized marketplace are, in many cases, the ones that helped create the conditions that created a demand for an alternative in the first place.

Texas should welcome every company wanting to invest in Texas and benefit from this pro-business environment, *provided* they respect the principles that made Texas attractive in the first place.

And the ESG activists and woke actors that have consistently meddled in financial markets and used their market power to push a far-left political agenda would be smart to remember: everything is bigger in Texas, including accountability.

I met with a bipartisan delegation from both houses of the United States Congress Senators – @SenatorShaheen, @LindseyGrahamSC, @SenatorDurbin, @ChrisCoons, @SenatorRounds, @RepMikeTurner – and thanked them for their support and focus on Ukraine. We had an in-depth discussion about the prospects for diplomacy and what is required for it to succeed. I informed them about the Patriot interceptor shortage and Russian attacks on our people. Right now, contributions to PURL and other air defense deliveries are the top priority for defense.

We also discussed the Russia sanctions bill. It is critical to continue increasing pressure on Russia for this war, and this initiative can truly help to advance peace. I thanked Senators and Members of Congress for their words of respect for our warriors and operations, as well as their assurances that assistance will continue. I am grateful to the United States and every caring American heart for their support.
