Ebenezer is at risk, he is stuck in a #Merseyside vets as he was handed in as a stray but the finders details was not correct so the dog wardens can't collect him. He is an older male jrt and has been advertised as found and not claimed. The vets can only hold him until Friday. They do not want to pts him and asked for my help to find a rescue space for him. The vets will not release him to the public as they have a policy in place preventing this. I have found him a rescue space with Arthur the lurcher but transport to Fetcher dog rescue (Tunbridge Wells) from Liverpool is £375...we have raise £140 on Arthur's post but are still 235 short...can anyone help? All local rescues have been tried and do not have space.

URGENT RESCUE SPACE NEEDED FOR GEORGIE
Some of you may remember Georgie who was recently found on the streets of #Caldy; cold, hungry and absolutely terrified.
Some members of the public were able to get Georgie to a 24 hour vet’s where he could be kept safe before coming to kennels. As he got there, out of fear and being so overwhelmed after his ordeal that night, he reacted when someone attempted to check for a microchip.
We believe Georgie is a dainty staffy cross (weighing 18.5kg) and around 1 year old.
Since coming to us he’s really come out of his shell and has come round to all of the staff, now loving his treats, a fuss and walks. Georgie is still very foodie, which is helping him build his confidence, but will eat anything left out on his walks! He isn’t interested in toys though, and will go between treats and affection when with staff.
We know we may be asking the impossible given the current crisis amongst rescues, but we really need one to help continue the work on with Georgie so he can then eventually be rehomed. We’re limited with our time and also within a kennel environment sadly.

Griff is a rather striking looking 2-3 year old Lurcher that arrived with us as an unclaimed stray. This very handsome boy is super friendly and is looking for that special person to share his life with.
Griff has to be the laziest Lurcher we have ever met, there are 2 things that are really important to him....eating and sleeping!!!! Even when you take him into the enclosed field all he wants to do is plod about and sniff!! No zoomies for Griff, he likes the slower pace of life!
Griff walks well on the lead and is happy going for a little strut around the block, closely followed by a nap!
He travels well in the car and yes you guessed it he just curls up and goes to sleep!
Griff would prefer to live as an only dog and definitely no cats. He isn't reactive on the lead and ignores dogs that walk past. He can also live with children over 8 years old
.
So if you are looking for a couch potato then Griff is your man, jokes aside he might be very different in a home as they often prove us wrong! But he is a genuinely lovely boy who would make someone an ideal companion

Please meet Tilly, a 10yr old Border Collie cross Lurcher. Tilly has been a much loved companion but sadly her owner passed away and she’s now found herself homeless .
She really is the sweetest, most docile girl. Around other dogs she’s calm and unbothered, always choosing to stay close by your side instead. She walks beautifully on the lead, has such a gentle way about her, and is happiest when she’s curled up on her bed or soaking up affection.
All she wants is a warm sofa and a loving home, and someone who’ll finally choose her. She is a healthy girl, she still enjoys her walks and a play.

This boy is just SO lovely and has been waiting for so very long ... He is STILL in kennels here with us and even with an enclosed bed and heat lamps - the weather has turned and it is very cold!
Charlie is a big and very strong boy - he is soft and sweet but a clumsy 'oaf' and needs lead work and space to run around freely ... Charlie was in a sorry state when 'dumped' and has had cruciate ligament surgery since being with us but so needs to build up muscle now and start to lead a normal life ...

DOTTY - MUST LEAVE THE POUND ON NOVEMBER 21ST AS THE POUND CANNOT HOLD BEYOND DAY 8 (so needs space by end of 19th November latest to plan vaccs and transport out).

Dotty is described as a big old staffy cross girl. She is chipped and we hope so much that her family is looking for her. We are waiting to see if there is an age on her chip. We will add more info on Dotty as we get it and hopefully a video.

If not claimed Dotty needs a rescue space, she is not for private rehoming. She is available via JACOB'S POUND DOGS UK.

All dogs must pass a temperament test before being released for rehoming. This means they will have shown no human or dog directed aggression or have given the kennel staff any cause for concern over their temperament.

Nala is a 4-year-old and Storm is a 5-year-old #Husky. They haven't lived with any other dog's but they are good meeting family members dogs. The duo are super human friendly and would be great in the family unit.
Nala & Storm are a pair of houdini huskies and are known for escaping and will need extra security in the garden to ensure they cannot escape.
They are typical huskies who pull on a lead and would love a active placement to burn some energy.
