Remember how everyone rushed to use his photo, of his walking toward an IDF tank to advocate for the lives of his patients? Rushed to plaster it everywhere, rushed to make AI edits, art, whatever. That was in December 2024.
How often is he mentioned today? He is alive, he is being tortured and slowly killed - he, alongside every Palestinian hostage, must be freed.
The footage out of Gaza the last few days has been horrifying, but the footage tonight is reminiscent of what we witnessed day in and day out through 2023 and 2024.
One friend in Nuseirat camp said that tonight was the worst night they’d experienced. It is the day before Eid al Adha and Israel, the ethno-supremacist Jewish nation it is, is slaughtering Palestinians as it always does before Islamic holidays.
BOMBSHELL: Prominent journalist Yasmin Khan confirms 15 peace activists detained by Israel report being systematically raped and sexually assaulted.
An Australian doctor reveals soldiers dragged medics into stress positions and brutally beat them. Pure fascist terror!
Jewish-American orthopedic surgeon Mark Perlmutter, who worked in Gaza, said Israeli soldiers took two Palestinian children, tied their hands behind their backs, and buried them alive at Nasser Hospital — their cries muffled by the dirt poured over them.
If 9 Jewish paramedics were killed ANYWHERE in the world it would be called terrorism.
And we’d never hear the end of it.
Israel slaughtered 9 paramedics in 72 hours, most of which we’ve seen on film, and we only hear their names on Twitter.
There's a video on the timeline today of a Palestinian man weeping over the body of his dead 6-year-old daughter. She was killed in an Israeli attack on a tent. There is no ceasefire. There was never a ceasefire. And they have never stopped slaughtering the children of Gaza.
Stumbled onto a bittersweet flash fic while I was on the #Saiyuki Discord which I HAD to illustrate (with writer permission).
Feat. an adult Son Goku mourning old friends gone and getting a visit from a strange yet familiar face.

My latest: The four convicted Filton 6 activists are expected to be sentenced with a "terror connection," next month, which would lead to lifetime consequences. Link in next tweet.
They locked him inside a wooden coffin for 12 days. Former Palestinian hostage Imad Nabhan describes how the Israeli occupation army sealed him inside a wooden coffin with an iron cage door, bound hand and foot in total darkness, kept alive on quarter cups of cocoa and broth fed through a small tube in one of three tiny holes.
Nabhan had been kidnapped from al-Rafi'i school in Gaza as civilians were heading to a shelter. Soldiers demanded he serve as an informant, enter Hamas tunnels on their behalf, and ride on their tanks. When he refused, they tortured him with electricity. When that failed to break him, they dragged him blindfolded into the coffin. He says the soldiers knew he had no information to give but wanted to inflict as much suffering as possible. "In that moment, you wish for death but you can't find it," he says. After his release, he suffered three to four seizures a day and went five to six days without any medical treatment.
@TRTArabi
Among the reasons most EU states and EU institutions are quiet about Israel's daily slaughter of civilians in the region, is that they do not care: Lebanese, Palestinian, Iranian lives are disposable, their loss negligible.
And this is so wrong.
Immoral.
Illegal.
Irresponsible.
