them to Little Rock to share their stories, wisdom, and lessons learned. We think the lectureship will serve dual purposes of honoring Chief Petty Officer Brown and bringing lessons learned treating injured warfighters to bear on the care of injured Arkansans.
The first project we would like to fund is the brainchild of my partner and friend, Dr. Richard Betzold. The Adam Brown Memorial Heroes in Military Medicine Annual Lectureship would seek out a military medic who exemplifies the virtues of the lectureship's namesake and (1/x)
Tomorrow is the UAMS Day of Giving. For the first time, the UAMS Division of Acute Care Surgery (trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care) will have a dedicated fund which we will use to advance the care of surgically complex Arkansans.
