Arsenal and the NY Knicks both winning is unbelievably good for sport.
It’s two giants of the culture. Incredibly diverse fanbases from two incredible cities.
Also, hilarious that they’re both helped by teams named Spurs gifting them points.
🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney: “Arsenal have been robbed tonight” 🤯
Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.”
john mc ginn has captained aston villa to 2 ucl campaign, ucl quarter final and now a europa league trophy.
but man utd fans are making excuses for bruno that he has terrible players around him that’s why they finished 15th, 11th & 8th and lost the europa league to spurs.
This has arguably been the hardest Premier League to win. Previous champions spending £400m in the summer. Pep buying two of the best players in the league in January. Three teams making European finals. A CL team in 17th. Fewest points between 1st and 18th in over a decade.
Daniel Taylor,
You really need to do justice to Sterling when writing. He broke out at 16, playing top level football, and now he’s 31.
Out of these years, he was at the top for more than a decade. Many players don’t have that.
I’ll remind you of what he’s achieved just incase you’ve led many people on, people who possibly have amnesia. Y’all cannot rewrite history.
Sterling is the second youngest player to score for Liverpool, only behind Owen.
Golden boy award in ‘14 (Best U-21 player in Europe)
Scored over 100 goals in the premier league at age 27, the 8th youngest player to score over 100 goals. He’s also part of the PL-100 club.
5 Career Hat tricks…also scored the fastest hat trick in 18/19 season, it took him 13mins.
About 100 premier league appearances for Liverpool

He’s also an MBE, due to work he’s done for the black race. Promoting racial equality in sports.
It doesn’t end here.
4 Premier Leagues
1 FA Cup
5 Carabao Cups
1 Champions league and Carabao Cup runner up.
He also played close to 100 games for England, scoring many goals, very reliable and also led them to 2nd place at the Euros in 2020.
Let it be known that Raheem Sterling is a LEGEND of the game, especially in the premier league. Let your write ups always cover it.
Positive contents can do numbers, not just negatives.
Thanks, Daniel.
To be clear, the foul by Pablo isn't like and other examples that are being shared.
Pablo has his arm fully across the goalkeeper, holding the opposite arm.
This clearly limits Raya's ability to claim or play the ball and is markedly different to other goals that have stood.
