@blowincat Before the second shoulder. He had already dumped him on the ground on the sideline when the ball was dead. That's what prompted the shoving happened right in front of me
@CianOConcubhair He still has to answer for the crime of scoring that goal in the 2002 final and breaking my tiny little heart. Bastard, like Al Capone at least he got done for fraud instead of his true crimes.
@Pidge Only taken it once at commute time. Biggest issue for me was getting from Gardiner St to the Quays. Very slow moving in traffic, no bus lane. Becaue it's going straight at custom house doesn't even benefit from pritority bus lane at that junction.
@urban_comp Our big domestic sport season finished at the end of July and the soccer is on early at the weekend. American Football is the only game in town on a Sunday evening. Enjoy Galway, big recommend on O'Connells; great spot.
@PCarrollSport You can think that. I totally disagree though. I think any fairness issues relating to wind are fairly minor in relation to golden score or two clear and they would be a better way to settle a game than some penalties taken by players that probably almost never practice them
@PCarrollSport If he misses then yeah the game was settled through the normal course of play. Penalties don't reflect the skills of the game well. No defensive play or contests for the ball. It's not soccer where it could take hours for another score. Could do golden score or first to 2 clear.
@Holdmypint@movementcoachkm@oisinlangan Yep Dublin has senior Hurling championship fixtures set for All Ireland Hurling final weekend. Split season is a fiction
@gavreilly Sunlight the only consistent measure, the pagans had it right. The major events it's seasons hang on can be mapped to any place in the world regardless of their climate conditions. The modern version is just a crude version of this good system mapped onto the Gregorian calendar.
@SmallerFishGAA Too much Hurling played too early. Few top levels games during best conditions.
No slack in the schedule for replays, major games being resolved by abominable penalties.
Fixture congestion means no build up for big games.
I play club, would be happy to see finals in August
