@KingdomRebel86@MattWalshBlog You're promoting a 20-25% tax increase on individuals' earnings over $184,000. That sounds like the politics of envy and resentment. Very popular these days, I'm aware, but something wicked this way comes.
@kaylavanw@TroyJackson207 Wait. Susan Collins also voted for Kagan and Sotomeyor, and against Barrett. So how is she to blame for Dobbs? Looks to me like she does her constitutionally assigned duty, that is to advise and consent on whether a person is qualified for the Court.
@skumWgmi Remember when Preisdent Obama said our low-premium policies were "junk" because you had to pay a lot out of pocket for routine stuff, even if they really protected you from major medical costs? Remember they outlawed those policies?
@GunnelsWarren Wow. So how would he come up with the liquid cash to pay the tax? Sell his companies? Let Uncle Sam run them? You do understand his net worth is tied up in shares of his businesses, not sitting in various banks, right?
@ChristopherHale Bruenig fails to note that Gad Saad distinguishes common compassion and empathy from an unreasoned empathy he calls suicidal. The latter extreme is not Catholic charity since it induces the empathizer to lay aside Catholic truths in order to elevate the feelings of the other.
@WGME Wait. Did Troy make this apology aloud, in his own words, or was this a written statement he had his campaign release? In which case, he didn't write it.

School makes a student aid offer consisting of grants (take something off the sticker price) and loans, combined with a 10-month payment plan for the remainder of that year's costs. Outside loans might be taken as well if family chooses.
@MrCasey62 The prayers of a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial are entirely in response to the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ, IOW, the gospel, and Christian hope for the soul of the deceased. @Thatbrian
At the height of its power and prosperity, America lost its capacity to transmit basic numeracy and literacy to a rising generation because it handed over pedagogy to a pseudo-scholarly establishment that paid a credentialed caste handsomely to propagate ruinous errors that conformed to moral vanities that it chose to prioritize over all other values
@aobrien2010 When I was a young mom it was possible for a stay-home mom to take care of a few kids from their friend group or social circle - people who knew and trusted each other - without having to jump through hoops for the state. Win/win.
@MaineNewsroom Many of the people who want to reclaim our democracy also want to abolish the US Senate, abolish the Supreme Court, and abolish the Electoral College. All are in place as checks on pure democracy and on executive power. Why would they want to rid the US of such protections? Hmm.
