BREAKING: Unveiling Oregon Department of Education's Controversial Methods: A Deep Dive into Research Flaws and Lack of Oversight
https://t.co/YAv5ICqbQf
This is fraud at a massive scale, and it has been used to circumvent our democratic processes by delivering fraudulent information to Oregon's legislature and the community at-large.
This is also just the beginning of the exposure. In the upcoming days and weeks I will provide information on other reports and plans the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) has published, and how they too are crammed with misrepresentations and lies.

Thank you Dr. Bruce Gilley, President of @OregonScholars, for co-authoring the joint report that exposed ODE's fraud!
📢 CALL TO ACTION 📢
OHA temporarily removed the Covid-19 vaccine mandate for teachers and volunteers starting at the end of the school year, but we need your support to ensure this outdated policy is permanently repealed.

How about instead of hiring Restorative Justice Coordinators and School Climate Specialists, we hire more teachers, including reading and math specialists, to make sure our kids can read and do math at grade level 🤔
In case you are wondering how the proposed boost in the state schools funds might affect @PPSConnect, look no further than this budget addendum for tonight’s board meeting:
Wishing a happy Mother’s Day to the moms out there
As moms, we know what it’s like to have a piece of our heart walking around outside of our body, and there are far too many people who think that they are ‘all of our children’. But nobody advocates like a mother 💪🏻
Last week, we received these photographs of a slideshow from a 10th grade health class in the Hillsboro School District.
This content was not part of the approved content the district adopted in 2019. Apparently they were added without review or a board vote.
As a proud mother of twins, I spoke on the House floor in support of the Parents Bill of Rights. Nobody understands a child’s needs more than the people who love them most: their parents. We must protect every parent's right to have a seat at the table in their child's education.
“The purpose of our schools is to set students up for success as they enter the workforce or higher education, not to teach them about sexual fantasies,” Mackensey Pulliam of Oregon Moms Union said.

This assignment was given to a freshman health class in Eugene.
Less than 50% of students currently reading at grade level and less than 38% able to do math at grade level in that district. They need to focus on academics rather than sexual fantasies.

Instead of heavy-handed mandates that shut parents out of the classroom, we need the Parents Bill of Rights to ensure every parent can have a voice in their child’s education. As a mother of two, I’ll always fight to protect parental involvement.

If successful, this measure would allow 16 year olds to vote. And we all know how the government teachers unions would try to influence them to vote in favor of their political causes.

More than a third of America's fourth graders can’t read on a basic level, according to the most recent national test assessments.

"For too long in K-12 education, the only special interests who had any influence were the ones who represented the employees in the system," said @DeAngelisCorey. "But now the kids have a union of their own, and they're called parents."
We are that union!

If they were truly worried about the students, they would make changes to the system and focus on academics and the needs of students.
Instead they’re just worried about losing funding and their cushy ODE administrative jobs.

🚨 RED LIGHT ALERT 🚨 We need your help to fight SB 767 and preserve charter schools and their ability to grow by emailing the education committee and tell them to VOTE NO on SB 767.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Oregon media spent the same amount of effort covering the corruption within our failing public education system as they do about a few employees swiping liquor for their own enjoyment?
School shutdowns created a lost generation. Kids are missing, and those that aren’t can’t read, write or do math. And there is no plan to fix any of it.
230k students are missing from the school system.
Never re-entered school since the closures.
Plenty of you out there think I should just get over it. Who cares! Whatevs! Schools are open. Why so angry still?
230k kids is why. https://t.co/xEOOwUzWup
