You see it in his chats (from the few clips I’ve seen), and all over comments sections on here

People building their platforms and engagement/clip farming by dunking on him or taking advantage of his situation to influence him in questionable ways

This isn’t to defend any mistakes he’s made - I’ve had my disagreements with things he’s done and said, as I’m sure he’s disagreed with things I’ve done or said. I’m also sure he knows his flaws and I ask Allah to help him overcome them

Nonetheless, we ought to be wary as Muslims that it could alienate him if we are unnecessarily harsh because then he’s getting “attacked” from all sides

Advise him, correct him with wisdom when he’s wrong, but don’t dogpile him because you could isolate him or even worse, steer him in the direction of bad company

Again, I’m not saying to molly coddle him and make out as if he’s only been Muslim for a day so we should turn a blind eye to any blunders he makes. But as much as he “influences”, so too is he just as likely to be influenced

And we want him to be influenced in the right way, by the right things
