If you’re having decision making paralysis about what server to choose (like I was), don’t worry about it too much because you can 1. still talk to everyone and 2. always migrate your account later! I started with (and am still on) “mas dot to” if that helps.
https://t.co/QKutZ656M9 helped me find lots of old bird app peeps again on mastodon. Highly recommend it. No manually down and uploading csv files. Really easy.
I tried making some simple shortcuts and automations in Shortcuts app on iOS. Shortcuts being unresponsive, slow, hung, and crashing while creating and editing was pretty frustrating.
Have you experienced that too or am I holding it wrong?

literal research has been done on this
it showed that people don't become more assholish when they're anonymous
it showed that the anonymous assholes are just always assholes

A better approach is brainwriting: generate ideas separately, then meet to assess and refine.
Group wisdom begins with individual creativity.
