Chris has a simple message, as both a British army veteran and the son of a Holocaust survivor: the genocide in Gaza must end, British cooperation with the IDF must stop, and Palestine Action is not a terrorist organisation.
VAR can be ruthless... take note of the latter part of the video where my brother, @ISMAILACEESAY, maps out the path to the presidency. It might not be that easy, but stranger things have happened.
Another succesful @GamMed10 visit to @OrthoEfsth just ended. Grateful to the local and visiting teams as well as the sponsors and well wishers for making it another resounding success. Looking forwards to visit No 8 in November 2024 and more wins #Gambia#Orthotwitter#collabs

Global surgery- an African perspective. My talk at WACS on the importance of strengthening surgical systems in Africa. A good surgeon will not have good outcomes in a weak or dysfunctional health system. #PresidentialSession

3yrs ago today we performed the 1st ever total hip replacement at @efsthsurgery . It didn't get as much traction as the first knee, but since then I have gone on to do 40 hips in total (at least half in the govt hospital). The 40th was this morning fittingly #Gambia#OrthoTwitter
Job opportunity! Work with the @TheAOAlliance Gambia Country Initiative as a project officer, helping coordinate & facilitate various arms of our project with the overall goal of improving our care of the injured in The Gambia.
The other 30% are things completely out of my control and that I have surprisingly little influence to affect 😅 We still have a long way to go and a lot of support is still needed, but we can safely now say the country has a functioning and progressive orthopaedic department
3 years ago, I was interviewed for my job @efsth_official and went armed with a 4 page doc of what I wanted to work with them to achieve. Looking back at the doc, I am comforted that I have achieved about 70% of it, which isn’t bad considering all things. #TakingStock#SetGoals
Proud day today as HOD @efsthsurgery when 3 of our junior docs passed their #MRCS@RCSnews The first ever to do so out of The Gambia I believe. A great trio with bright futures (Drs Jaiteh, Camara & Jabang) It's been a good year for exam passes from the dept #Surgeons#DiyaaKuyaa

Can @SiemensHealth or @GEHealthcare or @FujifilmHealth or @PhilipsNA help out this doctor and the county of Gambia. They are in need of a c-arm unit to continue to care for their patients.
