Genuine fascists have essentially no meaningful political power in the West: legitimate doctrinaires of Mussolini, Gentile &c. are prominently online and are considered esoteric enough not to engage with most ordinary people on a regular basis. Most parties considered ‘fascist’ propose vaguely culturally-right proposals, e.g. banning gay marriage or state religion, but many of these upon closer inspection are either irrelevant to fascism or contradictory with its original proposals.

The closest ‘economically’ fascist proposals exist in forms of dirigiste planning, with sectoral-state collaboration and planning; but even this is only somewhat orthogonal. It can be clear to any remotely inquisitive individual that ‘fascism’ as a concrete political movement died long ago.
