PETER IS MORE VALUABLE TO APC ALIVE

When the river of relevance begins to dry, desperate politicians will seek water even from stone.

We who have gathered our minds at the intersection of deep reasoning and the insatiable hunger for wisdom have always called Peter unto discernment not out of disdain for his person or mockery of his ambitions.

But out of concern for a fellow Nigerian, for we know the lanes of populism he steadfastly travels upon is slippery and the demands of that journey are usually perilous - for they require a man to gradually, imperceptibly, become someone he is not.

When he began disrupting the otherwise organized iftar of innocent children by pretending to break the fast with them while he was visibly and noticeably uncomfortable and irritated, we warned him of the unlikely possibility of sustaining such an act. When last have you seen Peterudeen among muslim children dragging cutlery?

Oh! Ok, we saw him again among muslim faithfuls, where he mutilated a simple occasional courtesy - "Ramadan Kareem" or "Happy Ramadan" would have been sufficient but he wanted to prove he had mastered few words in arabic, again, pretending to be what he is not for public applause. "Barka de Ramadan," - Osey, Sheik Abdulpeteru Ibn Obirulai.

Ofcos, we saw the groundnut theatre - a performance so spectacular in its miscalculation, history will record it as su!c!de - a show of shame that refused to go away. Peter shops in supermarkets and foreign stores where there is no liberty to negotiate prices but since the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart, we see Peter still seeking to benefit from a poor woman's misery.

What he attempted for public stunt eventually backfired to reveal his true identity - a man who only seeks after his own gains, and you wonder why he has no mentees?

Assassination attempt? How? By Whom?

His Obidient lieutenants are busy receiving donations with both hands and distributing nothing - not even the modest dignity of paying party agents. Every man and woman in the movement is clearly out for their own survival and not the interest of the cult or the ambitions of Peter.

So if someone truly sought Peter's removal from existence- would they not simply whisper to one of these hungry lieutenants? For "the man who would sell the secret of the shrine will not hesitate to sell the priest."

Why would they need elaborate plots when Peter's own camp is populated by those who would, as the scripture reminds us, betray even the divine for thirty silver coins?

THE TRUTH - PETER IS STANDING ON THE MANDATE

But here is the deeper truth - The one wrapped in mystery only the patient can decipher:

Peter Gregory Obi is worth infinitely more to the governing party breathing, tweeting, rallying, and peak-fooling - than he is silent.

He is the opposition's own masquerade that dances against the opposition. Every crowd he pulls is a crowd that does not consolidate.
Every coalition he fragments is an assembly that cannot challenge.

In this political chessboard that is Nigeria's politics of 2027, Peter is not the queen threatening the king - he is the pawn that prevents the opponent's pieces from forming a line.

He is more Batist than Seyi Tinubu and is standing on the mandate more firmly than any of us in the progressive camp. He serves the table he believes he is overturning. - But ofcos, that is a conversation for post 2027 Presidential Election analysis... For now, Peter can enjoy his few moments of attention.
