An unknown male patient was brought to our Emergency Room on 17th December, 2022 by a kind hearted Nigerian who saw him lying unconscious on the ground along Benin-Lagos Expressway by Evidence of the Gospel Church, Idunmowina, Benin.
Yesterday I saw a skit with a man flogging a lady for dressing in a way he thought was objectionable. People were in the quotes laughing but I need us to understand how dangerous ANY narrative of that sort is.
We must take every threat to autonomy very seriously.
For everyone who feels like they didn’t measure up this year, understand that one year is a comparatively small unit of time in the journey. Resist the urge to continuously beat yourself about it. As you congratulate others, extend some kindness to yourself.

This is ASP Ayuba, the rogue policeman at Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah that murdered a pregnant lawyer, Mrs. Bolanle Raheem, on Christmas day while the victim was returning from Church with her husband. We were at the station this morning and paid a condolence visit to the family.
For every damn time a trigger-happy police man kills an innocent citizen, we come up with ‘’justice must be served’’. After few days, the rage dies down. The family of the deceased is left to grieve forever. Sincerely, this is what I hate about Nigeria.
