Urging @RCTCBC to work with our communities & families for a fair, local, accessible, enviromental, 21C schools plan for Pontypridd. Our children 1st #OC1#only
It's time to say goodbye. The committee has decided that it is time for this group to close. There is no longer a role for Our Children First. We are all moving forwards in our individual roles to make a difference where we can. Thank you for all your help and support since 2019!
RCT don’t seem to be letting parents know but if you choose Welsh Medium education and you live 1.5miles from a Welsh medium school there is transport provided. Please don’t let the distance to school put you off choosing Welsh! #cymraeg#miliwn#parenting#earlyyears
Local Pontypridd school councils have been to visit the new Welsh medium primary school site at Heol y Celyn. Site staff asked them ‘How did you get here’ 🤦🏻♀️ Well they certainly didn’t walk did they.
I am joining with others to ask @Addysg_Cymraeg @WelshGovernment to review the 21C School's programme due to the unintended consequences for communities across Wales https://t.co/pvJThhji8F

The time has come for us to develop a new Welsh Language Strategy to promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh language in Rhondda Cynon Taf. To help us write the new strategy we need your views as RCT residents. Get involved in the conversation here: https://t.co/6nJkDtj61T
As the @IPCC_CH report is due to be launched, the people of #Pontypridd say '#climatechange is at our door' & a plea from our @YCAWales Leo for 'government's to be much more ambitious' https://t.co/eu4pj5yo26
Mewn cyfnod lle mae cymint o ewyllys da tuag at y Gymraeg, mae bwriad Cyngor Nedd Port Talbot i adeiladu siwpyr-ysgol Saesneg sgleiniog newydd i 700 o blant ym Mhontardawe yn mynd i achosi ergyd farwol i’r iaith yn y cwm.
Wy am geisio canfod pa ffyrdd allwn ni helpu i wrthwynebu.
Mewn llefydd fel Cwm Tawe lle mae defnydd naturiol o’r Gymraeg yn dal i fodoli, er gwaetha’r trai cynyddol, dylid cael polisi o agor dim ond ysgolion Cymraeg. Neu mae sôn am gyrraedd miliwn o siaradwyr yn freuddwyd gwrach. Oes modd i Lywodraeth Cymru gamu mewn @Jeremy_Miles ?
@RCTCouncil This is not exciting it is devastating for the Welsh language, for school based sixth form, for the environment, for pupil wellbeing, for supporting pupils with additional needs, for traffic management, and for community cohesion.
@RCTCouncil "Rhydyfelin, which will significantly increase Welsh Medium primary provision locally – a key target in the Council’s Welsh in Education Strategic Plan in areas where demand is higher than capacity" locally to Rhydyfelin whilst removing it entirely from Ynysybwl,Cilfynydd,CYC etc
