A grass roots group trying to protect pedestrian spaces for people. Asking Tower Hamlets and Network Rail to give our pavements back, Clare Street, E2.
"We have a small window to influence this bill. We need to act now."⚡️
At our roundtable last night @RosamundAdoo_KD urged everyone to email their MP to support the amendment for WHO air quality targets in the #EnvironmentBill.
It's back Tue. Do it now👉https://t.co/6i3hIx3UrA
@TowerHamletsNow has legal obligation to maintain safe highways per Highways Act 1980 but somehow didn’t notice private structures on Clare Street public highway for 6 years despite yearly inspections?! Spooky-dookie! @Kevin_J_Brady @dan_tomlinson_ @Dan_Bromley_N @MayorJohnBiggs
The council has in principle approved parents' idea to temporarily extend Chisenhale School's playground into the barely used road outside! This will make it much easier to separate bubbles. Show your support for the idea here by giving it a like 👇 https://t.co/5xYLdIkIW3
#PavementParking here on Roman Road is a regular occurrence.
This is a raised informal crossing where often you would have to squeeze between parked cars to cross the road in a wheelchair.
Why isn’t this double yellow lines @TowerHamletsNow?

Feeling the Christmas cheer from @networkrail . After painting parking spaces on @TowerHamletsNow Clare Street public highway, they say that other than the security contract to protect the spaces they have ZERO other documents about them! Cute! #PavementsForPeople@MayorJohnBiggs
They have moved - just a little. No access ramps on or off the closed pavement however - shoddy way to undertake planned works @thameswater@TowerHamletsNow
