International peace activist and President of the Global Peace Initiative, Dr. K. A. Paul, held a crucial peace meeting today at 1 PM in New Delhi with the representative of the supreme leader of Islamic Dr.Abdul Hakim Ilaihi meeting, Dr. Paul urged world leaders including President Donald Trump, President of Iran, and Benjamin Netanyahu to immediately declare a 72-hour ceasefire to allow urgent peace negotiations.

Dr. Paul stated that since February 5, 2026, he has been meeting with U.S. and international leaders and working tirelessly to prevent what he described as a dangerous war that could destabilize the Middle East and the world.

He called on all parties to give diplomacy a chance and said the temporary ceasefire could open the door for historic peace talks between Iran, Israel, and the United States.

Dr. Paul concluded with a global appeal:

“Blessed are the peacemakers. Let the world give peace a chance.”

At the Chennai Peace Festival, Congress MP Robert Bruce, BJP Leader. Dolphin sritharan, and thousands of leaders from all faiths came together in a rare show of unity for global peace.

PRESS STATEMENT

Chennai – Friday, 1:00 PM

Dr. K. A. Paul addressed the media today regarding the Global Peace Festival to be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM at YMCA Grounds, Chennai.

Dr. Paul stated that on Wednesday at 12 noon, from The Park Hotel, Chennai, he publicly requested the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin @mkstalin, to grant police permission for the Peace Festival within 48 hours, failing which legal action would be initiated.

He expressed appreciation that exactly within 48 hours — by Friday at 1:00 PM — police permission was granted.

Dr. Paul further appealed to the Chief Minister to personally support and attend the Peace Festival, which will gather thousands of pastors, bishops, religious leaders, youth, and representatives from Hindu, Muslim, and Christian communities. He emphasized that this is not a political meeting but a global interfaith Peace Festival reaching nearly 200 countries through digital broadcast.

Dr. Paul urged the Chief Minister to stand for peace, unity, and harmony at a time when many conflicts are affecting the world. He respectfully invited him to attend the event, even briefly between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, to show solidarity for peace.

He concluded by stating that supporting peace initiatives strengthens leadership and public goodwill, and he prayed for the Chief Minister’s presence and blessings for the success of the Peace Festival. Dr paul also reminded C M Stalin about then 2002 CM Lalitha did not attended peace festival and he called all his followers to defeat her and she lost all 38 M. P.s in 2004 . Then C M Jaya repented and hosted Dr Paul and requested his support then in 2014 with Paul’s millions of followers from both Christian and Telugu community she won . If C M Stalin rejects peace festival and refused to attended Stalin also will be Ex C M after this May 2026 Elections.
