i don't sell no courses or signals. This twitter is only for journaling purposes, for myself and potential futures job opportunities. I don't know if tomorrow will be green, red, or yellow. I'm 100% systematic, and also won't share my system.
@ChShersh in python one call to list(map(lambda x: ...)) will be virtually the same as a list comp. if you stack operations the (ugly) imperative for loop will win. That's why rust is goated. Compiled to identical perf
@steveklabnik I wrote traits hierarchies aberrations with associated types, mixed with Deref and AsRef and wasn't feeling much more limited than when I was coding in python. A bit more complex to apprehend sure but at least there's no surprise. Why trait inheritance wouldn't count? Curious
@charliermarsh Pyrefly has a very good rule that i wish ty had: flag implicit boolean casts.
This seems to go in this direction, but from my understanding it's more specific to certain cases, while at the same time being much more precise/comprehensive about said cases?
@FavorJoy_naara@bighugetime@raqisright For 1/8 you get MUCH more than a loaf too🤣 even in switzerland. Moreover, fresh from the oven. That one prolly industrial or wathever
@ArmanHezarkhani So no, there's absolutely still ppl that write by hand and will continue to do so. Moreover it's like 10x more expensive than a few months ago. Not everyone can/want to spend 200$ month just to support their code
@ArmanHezarkhani I spend ~10 hours per day, 5 days a week coding mostly by hand and I started 2y ago to code. Learned rust on the last 6 months. AI can be useful but it'so retarded most of the time that I can't/ don't want to rely on them for anything else than simple tasks
@VictorTaelin There are la guages that are in fact products. See windev for example. Note that this example is a bad product, but they still make money anyways
@StatisticUrban This doesn't seem correct. 26k is way too low for switzerland. The median gross income is way higher than that, ans we don't pay that many taxes.
@LeverageAlpha_ Not the same thing. You can't compare a z-score value on the last 20 observations and the last 200, they don't have the same range. That's why you re-normalize
