Someone posted the images of this house built in Calabar sometime ago on here, I saved it for the future.
Any house that doesn’t include a garden or green space is a piece of garbage.
Nigeria would’ve been a colder country if we planted more trees, had green spaces and parks.
my ultimate delusion is that i WILL win. not maybe, not someday, not if things go right. i will win, it is a certainty. and there is nothing in this world strong enough to convince me otherwise.
The older you get, the more you realize luck is just exposure.
If you sit in the same chair, same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new happens.
You have to touch the world to win.
Travel more. Talk to strangers. Try a new coffee spot. Post on social media. Start a side hustle.
The world rewards motion. You don't find opportunity sitting still.
Everyone wants a good woman. Until they realize that good women come with standards, priorities and boundaries. Now suddenly she's difficult, controlling, cold and "doing too much."
Intelligent people are OBSERVANT. They read people quickly but pretend they didn’t notice. They let you talk, reveal yourself, cross lines, and expose your intentions. Then they act once they know exactly who you are.
Stop caring about what people will think. Focus on your growth, focus on your hustle, focus on what brings you money.
Stop focusing on people's opinions. Opinions don't pay bills.
Focus on improving yourself everyday, focus on making your life better.
Make it your aim to be the best version of yourself, to improve yourself and do things that will bring you results no matter how small.
People's opinion won't bring you money, their opinion won't pay your rent neither will it pay your bills.
Stop caring about what people will say. Trust in your abilities, believe in yourself and go ahead with your hustle.
I wish you the best. ❤
The fastest way to change your life is to rip yourself out of your (physical and digital) environment. Change everything overnight. The places you go, the accounts you follow, the info you consume, etc. It's difficult but it absolutely works.
A mentor once told me this: Just be unapologetically yourself. The moment you start filtering yourself to be liked is the moment you start attracting relationships that need constant maintenance. Do you. The right ones will stick, the wrong ones will walk. That’s a blessing.
the longest & most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself, treat yourself with kindness, be gentle, be loving, be disciplined, push yourself when necessary, follow your dreams, build a beautiful life and never keep anyone harmful to your heart around.
