I’ve been saying for months that I believe Burnham is getting ready to go to the polls this year.

It makes total sense for him to do so:
1. He is the most popular he will ever be now
2. He needs a mandate for a big tax budget
3. The right are tearing themselves apart
4. Lib Dem’s are friendly to Labour and ready to prop up a Burnham govt.

He’s also been giving away freebies almost weekly, something no govt does out of the election cycle.

Prepare for a snap election.
