We Made it to Vibecon 2026

3000 rupees.
That's all I had when I got the email.
1AM. Just finished a shoot. Half asleep. And then my phone lit up and I actually screamed.

Out of 20,000 people I was in the top 300 at Vibecon. Lower acceptance rate than Harvard. I'm not joking. But here's the thing nobody tells you about moments like this. They come with a price.

Mine was a one way ticket to Bengaluru with almost nothing in my account. No return flight. No backup. Just the terrifying feeling that if 17Katas was ever going to be real this was the moment. So I went.

Day 1 I walked straight up to the Emergent CEO and pitched him on 17Katas. He said yes. Then I found the MD of Anthropic India and pitched her too. She gave me her email.
That night I built the entire demo from scratch. Never built an app before in my life. Didn't sleep. By 3AM it was real.

But the one person I came for. Varun Mayya. The guy who unknowingly gave me this whole idea. I couldn't find him.
I kept asking. Kept looking. Kept waiting. No luck. I left everything I had just to be in that room.
