It was a long road, but happy to share our work on Legislative Effectiveness in the American States @apsrjournal. Lots of data to be shared soon as well!
@RyanDEnos@JakeMGrumbach Yep. Also, we fielded the survey in 2016, so pretty easy to imagine the responses for even just those two questions looking quite a bit different if we were to ask them again today.
@kwcollins@RanchoGordo We used the recipe @RanchoGordo sent for the ayocote amarillos and it was fantastic. I believe it was this one, with the beans swapped: https://t.co/hrLUUpXqtH
@bshor@craigvolden Here's a link to the paper. For ideology, we're using your data, of course! We still need to merge in the most recent update though. https://t.co/3Zyf1CZ6xM
Today, 4pm EDT, @craigvolden will be presenting our paper (with Alan Wiseman) "Legislative Effectiveness in the American States". In it, we debut our brand new State Legislative Effectiveness Scores! Come check it out! https://t.co/9b0aanEgdy #APSA2020
@SaysBen@MattGrossmann@craigvolden We have scores for Nebraska but they're not on that plot because the state is formally nonpartisan. I know there's data on party affiliation for NE legislators though, so at some point, we'll probably merge that in, just haven't gotten there yet.
Now on #FirstView at @apsrjournal by yours truly (!!): Party Competition and Coalitional Stability - Evidence from American Local Government.
