In appeals court fight over the White House ballroom, DOJ says the federal government could quickly bulldoze the statute of liberty and no one would have standing to sue over the changes once the demolition is done.
A GOP congressman who would rather condescendingly bitch at doctors than do the hard work of addressing the fundamental flaws in the American medical system that lead to quitting.
Color me shocked!
Unless our Medical Schools do a better job of screening admission candidates, we won’t have any Doctors. If you don’t want to practice FULL time for at least 20-25 years, pick another profession.
@dicomdan@sentdefender@davetroy Pulte's bullshit trumped up mortgage fraud allegations didn't work, so Trump is moving his loyal thug henchman over to DNI in order to start bringing up bullshit trumped up allegations of national security risk and document mishandling against his political enemies instead.
@TaxFoundation Now do the top 0.1% and the top 0.01%. Because that's where the inversion hits.
The 1% still has mostly professionals, doctors and lawyers and small buisness folks, who can't shelter.
It's the UHNW top who can hide their money ... and should have a MUCH higher effective rate.
@StatisticUrban Or we could have progressive property taxes based on home valuation that would tax people with more expensive homes at higher rates while allowing people purchasing less expensive starter or downsize home to have lower costs.
That should be agnostic of the age of the homeowner
@Bob_Janke Counterpoint: Subject matter expertise and the ability to motivate/engage/manage in a way that gets results for others is a different skillset than that needed to get results for oneself.
@amyewalter I’m old enough to remember the 2012 GOP autopsy which told them they had to moderate on immigration in order to ever win again.
Which is exactly why the nominated Trump! /s
@RepJackKimble As a follower of your online persona it pleases me to no end to learn that you are a true DnD nerd as well.
And Colbert is the classiest of class acts.
