@ArnaudMarechal@JFPuget I like this discussion because the common theme is "we still need an expert human". A reasonable person could quibble by saying "LLMs *can* help you transition from intermediate to expert", but that still concedes the point that LLMs can't fully substitute for a human expert.
@pescami@mbyrnes37 I read a fair bit of the transcript (not the whole thing) and I now question *your* judgement. That transcript is not consistent with a man suffering from memory issues. He says "I don't recall" in response to close questioning on minute and anodyne details from 5 years ago.
@fortnow@miketrick This whole exchange was beautiful, thanks guys. I was in Chicago with Lance in the mid 90s, and my recollection is that Lance did not complain about the weather, not when it was below 0F, nor when it was a deadly summer heat wave. Whatever weather Chicago brings, Lance abides.
@Austen Hank Schraeder. Or Nachos dad in BCS. Or Howard Hamlin. All three are meant to be fully positive male role models, thats the point of their characters. Not perfect humans but definitely admirable.
@beatmastermatt@DBM503@KBAndersen Getting different nominees other than Biden and Trump isn't realistic. Given that, do you plan on using your platform to discuss the dangers of another Trump term, and the significant successes of Biden's 1st term? Or are you just going to slag on Biden, and Biden alone.
@AmateurStatus Feature, not a bug. Like half the golf fans now quietly thinking "gee, that does look like a good time, let me google the courts nearest me...."
@UniBananStates@JFPuget Nobody expects predictions to be perfectly accurate. But if you make a dramatic prediction, and then it turns out to be not even close, then you should have a little humility. Isn't it clear that radiologists are going to be working for the next 20 years?
