My original research/capstone project for my manual therapy fellowship. It compares standard PT for shoulder pain to standard PT and the โof dry needling and HVLAT manipulaiton of the cervical spine, thoracic spine and upper ribs. #PhysicalTherapy#dpt

@kayak19@kylewalterdavis@NeuroJo I would expect there is a direct correlation to the amount of meds on the market for each condition, that info is likely available somewhere?
I find it interesting that obesity is correlated with all conditions underneath it in 2017. We need to be more active and eat better!
I recently started teaching CEU's. Check out the website for all the details, my first blog post is up on cervicogenic headaches, with more to come.

@mpascoe Low back pain=symptom not diagnosis. Lots of things cause symptoms. we need to attempt to address the sources of symptoms.
If your smoke alarm goes off you can treat the symptom (noise) by taking the battery out but will regret not finding the source and treating properly ๐งฏ
@mpascoe you spoiled my punchline! There's not nearly enough info to make a decision. The point is our bias's guide us in both good and bad ways. What we are good at isn't always best for the pt. There is no best treatment for any symptom especially one as broad as low back pain.. 1/2
It is critical to both understand the mechanisms that cause/contribute to your pts symptoms and how to evaluate and treat the potential source(s) https://t.co/dEmopajvLr
Not all headaches are migraines, & not all migraines are only migraines. Proper screening & evaluation can determine the difference. The key is understanding the underlying mechanisms and interactions within your patients body! #headaches#ptcanhelp! https://t.co/x4lW7e2I7k
We're hiring a Physical Therapist @ Spine & Sport Physical Therapy (Ridgefield CT) It's a great opportunity to join a growing practice! https://t.co/X9imzeOtrd
@RayButtsDPTPhD teaching dry needling for carpal tunnel. Day 3 of DN-1. These PTs have a lot of tools to get even better outcomes for their patients. @DrDunning
Great day 2 of DN1: evidence based semi-standardised treatments for cervicogenic headaches and neck pain. Combine this with upper cervical HVLAT and headaches don't stand a chance! @DrDunning@RayButtsDPTPhD
