Their findings indicate a shift in investor expectations due to stricter deforestation policies in recent years. 📈🪴 Moreover, their results shows that investors are reacting strongly to policy discussions and decisions, such as the EUDR. #EUDR#investors#policy
Conference season has begun! Our PECan PhD candidates presented their novel research on how to best measure companies climate transition risk and on the pricing of deforestation risk in financial markets on various international conferences. 🌍📊 #climatefinance#deforestation
2.) @marcbohnet presented joint work with @PhilipFliegel and @tychotax at the JRC in Ispra. Using a novel corporate deforestation exposure metric developed with @C_and_C_Berlin, they conduct a short- and long-term deforestation risk pricing exercise for the MSCI ACWI.📉🌳
