Iran’s Food & Drug Administration has ordered pharmacies to force their female staff to wear black veils at workplace. Iranian men are mocking this order and supporting their female colleagues by wearing hijab.
Compulsory hijab is the main pillar of a religious relationship. Together we will bring this wall down.
Dear Public, major retail pharmacies did not shorten their hours because of Pharmacists shortage. It is because they had this rude awakening that no one wants to work for them even after offering 100K bonuses. That should tell you something.
You labeled those who speak out against dangerous working conditions as "underperformers". You tout your 2013 experience at a grocery pharmacy as relevant knowledge. You deny the current state of our profession. The problem isn't our messaging - it is your willfull ignorance.
To all my pharmacy friends, I know you mean well. You are concerned about the profession & we need that.
However, your messaging is not helping.
How can we recruit & inspire a future generation of #pharmacists when all they see online is that the “pharmacy sky is falling”?
To every media outlet running stories about CVS reducing their operating hours, THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF PHARMACISTS. Full stop. Unsafe script volumes, demand for vaccinations and COVID testing all with minimal support while shouldering all the liability - it’s no longer worth it.
For our Oregonian friends: the Oregon BOP is considering a rule to grant the Pharmacist-on-duty more autonomy to pause operations if the pharmacy is understaffed. To give commentary to the BOP on this rulemaking issue at their 1/26/23 meeting, go here: https://t.co/CFodcm1urm
Oklahoma is on its way to be the first state to have anti retaliation rules within its board of pharmacy laws. I have been processing what a beautiful victory this is for Oklahoma Pharmacists, Technicians and Students and I am planning on fighting hard to make sure it passes!
We talked to a nurse today who thought the pharmacist behind the counter was the one who was “overriding doctors” by setting prior authorization rules at the store level. There’s a lot of pharmacy misinformation out there even among other healthcare providers.
@RiteAid — there’s no shortage of @pharmacists
There’s a shortage of #pharmacists willing to work in the current conditions.
“Pharmacy staffing shortages causing headaches for local residents”
Change it because #PizzaIsNotWorking https://t.co/IYxh69Mpjq
🚨🚨🚨 EXCLUSIVE AUDIO of senior CVS Caremark executives disparaging patients as "brand terrorists" who Tweet about poor PBM service accessing medications or score them low on satisfaction surveys.🧵1/
Shortage of applicants? In Chapel Hill where there's a School of Pharmacy.🤔Telling. Another pharmacy says it's taking 3 WEEKS to get prescription transfers from @Walgreens for customers wanting out. Patients just need their medication & jump thru hoops at every stage in HC.
Would You Like Shots w/ That? @ShotsWithThat
National Chain #Pharmacy staffing models are in crisis. A fundamental change must take place in the name of #PublicHealth & the safety of our @Pharmacists@PINW_CA@BledTanoe
