@asemota Very bad. That’s how the sister coy of a monopoly, one tomato paste producer like that in 🇳🇬 having issues with sourcing tomatoes, instead of solving that situation was looking to the govt to ban the importation of of tomato paste.
@frankedoho Wt I understand about @ManUtd fans in 🇳🇬 is dt that United/City rivalry is not that deep cos not much of a city fan base here. Arsenal/Chelsea & to an extent ‘pool have that here, hence the bad belle here. Frankly I 💭 9ja utd fans couldn’t be 2 bothered with city’s success 4 NOW
Clubbing. So I go to a stuffy, crowded, harmfully noisy place, just to buy ridiculously overpriced drinks and fake-bond with strangers, and it's supposed to be "fun"?
@daviruz@HayesLikeIssac @thetoolsman The import ban has been in place since 03. CR began 04. Local farms like Zartech have been there even before the ban and are major beneficiaries of dt policy. They have that capacity. Beyond that, I’m talking about partnering with smaller farms that display potential for growth.
I was so broke once and had 10 Naira left and nowhere to turn as I was owing for everything including my car. Had to survive on 20k monthly after car and salary payments.
I just prayed. Used words in Psalm 37:25. Asked for my parents sake. Instantly a long-standing debt was paid.
@HayesLikeIssac @thetoolsman There’s still an import ban on frozen chicken. If CR is hard hit by the border closure it stands to reason that they were heavily dependent on smuggled chicken and didn’t have a local supply chain in place. That’s just poor risk assessment and management.
