@Jackbmeyer There are 2, opposite, definitions for PE (Charles Maier, true GOAT, sets this out)
1) is ‘rigorous’ Game theoretic/rational preference approach to political questions, often (not exclusively) math
2) is the ‘fun’ interdisciplinary ‘how it all works’ Smith/Marx/etc… meaning
@mean_field_zane For every ten crank het-econs there’s a great one like Lavoie, author of this table. The 10 also tend to be much louder and drown out the sensible ones…Lavoie has had some great chats with Beckworth on Macro Musings.
@__spruc3__@LittleKeegs0 This table comes from Lavoie’s ‘Post-Keynesianism Economcis: New Foundation’ which is a full textbook treatment.
There’s a shorter summary called ‘Introduction to PK Economics’ also by Lavoie
@Jackbmeyer Some can do maths, modelling, analysis, and others (often the louder ones with more clout) can’t, and it drags down the whole ‘heterodox’ label.

I love the transparency of Github. Wish all research was done on it.
