I don't care how you were raised, at some point you have to take responsibility for who you chose to be, trauma may explain behaviour, but it will never excuse it.
Professor of Law,popularly known as Mr. Soprano aka "Faya si Faiyaa"_once passionately condemned the excesses of the previous regime. He invoked Belshazzar's fate in the Book of Daniel, reminding Kenyans that arrogance is often the final chapter before a ruler's downfall.
Fast forward to today, and the once-fiery prophet of accountability now finds himself at the helm of donated leadership, lending his soprano voice to the ever-diminshing choir of TUTAM worshippers. The transformation has been remarkable.
One cannot help but wonder whether joining this government comes with a mandatory baptism:I mean the temporary suspension of independent thought, critical reasoning and every principle that once inspired resistance to bad governance.Worse still, some have shown symptoms of utter mediocrity.Otherwise, how do so many former critics like Midusa and that doktari who calls Kasongo dad suddenly become enthusiastic defenders of the very excesses they once denounced?
Perhaps Belshazzar's story is still relevant after all.We wait✋️✍️

This evening I joined families, friends and victims of the June 25 Gen Z demonstrations for a memorial service at Nairobi Baptist Church.
We gathered to honour the lives of young Kenyans whose courage and sacrifice must never be forgotten. I firmly believe that June 25 MUST be recognised annually as a public holiday, a day for national reflection and remembrance. I also propose the establishment of a national monument in honour of these heroes.
This event reminded me of the earlier service I attended at CLJ Maranatha Church, Karen, Nairobi, held under the theme “A Day with the Father”, I reflected on the responsibility of leadership in our nation. Leaders must carry themselves with the heart of fathers and mothers, offering guidance, protection, and care, especially for our children. A nation is strongest when those in authority act not with force, but with compassion, wisdom, and a deep sense of duty to safeguard the vulnerable.
I urge our police service to exercise restraint and professionalism. The use of excessive force against unarmed citizens is unacceptable and must come to an end.
Kenya must choose the path of justice, accountability, and respect for human life.
President Ruto and his deputy caught on camera giving contradictory figures on the funds allocated for the construction of Nithi Bridge.

Polite reminder: it’s your elected MPs who pushed us to this extent. Since then, nothing changed- No justice, no accountability.
Msikubali kudanganywa. The political class is the enemy and taxpayers are on their own
Githinji rewarding st. John's days to the June 24th Anniversary is not coincidence. It's a way of showing the middle finger to innocent Kenyans he slaughtered on that day. It's a thank you for their role in evacuating his puppets from bunge & for supporting his massacre 😌.
Some of my fellow young people are worse than these legacy politicians. Yes, we want young people in positions, but not just young, those who are competent and their values are rooted in integrity.
