This week, with funding from @UNDPUganda ACEMP alongside @mtic_uganda commenced the formalization of ASMEs in Bushenyi. 18 groups mining sand, aggregates, and clay for brick production were identified for formation of cooperatives.
It was a fruitful engagement between @CSCOUg1, @AnardeUganda@MEMD_Uganda, with support from @NRGInstitute
discussing regulations for the Mining and Minerals Act 2022.
