@NYCSanitation Cool. Now do FiDi. And don’t tell me the street beds are too narrow. They’re wide enough for placard parking; so, they’re wide enough for containerization. No more “studies” that don’t happen; no more “engagement” that doesn’t happen; no more delay. Just get it done.
@katie_honan I think you’re better than this. Ups and downs come and go (Johnnies had longer droughts). Regardless, I’ll still enjoy your great reporting on all things NYC govt.
@monipatt@Amtrak@AmtrakNECAlerts@AmtrakAlerts@SecDuffy@Amtrak: have a 17yo kid stranded on this train, which was supposed to get him safely to BOS by 9pm; as of 1:30am, told it’s in his “best interest to get off this train.” To where!?!? Not a breakdown. A total failures.
@JonVigliotti@JonVigliotti : do you have a longer clip of this video of Monument Street? Our friends are trying to get info on their house just at the end of that block (Monument & Bashford). Your reporting has been so helpful
@NYCMayor@HeyNowJO@NYC_Buildings Mr. Mayor — let me show some on Gold St and elsewhere in FiDi which have been up much longer, including one where DOB issued permits to a shed-shameful property owner to build a new tower next door.
@katie_honan@JCColtin@NYCMayor I’m not a reporter and I have FOILs outstanding back to BdB admin in 2020 that the OOM just keeps unilaterally extending “due to the volume of requests that we have received …” Some open system.
@SecretaryPete Fantastic! Now do Lower Manhattan — @FidiNewYork has a plan called Make Way for Lower Manhattan. Ask Dep. Sec. Trottenberg. Let’s make it happen! #MW4LM
Hey @united after going on 9 hrs delay (most of it on the plane) at DEN for a 7.5 hr flight UA 1805, passengers now told “we’re still trying to figure out what’s going on with this flight tonight.” Each excuse is new and different. Beyond shameful. @SecretaryPete
@errollouis@InsideCityHall@ydanis When will he and DOT finalize the Make Way for Lower Manhattan study and implement long-callled-for improvements to FiDi’s pedestrian mobility?
@ebottcher Please, please, please, Council Member - take lessons from Lower Manhattan, namely us in FiDi, and PLAN, PLAN, PLAN for this scale of conversion, esp. for how City services will get delivered (e.g., mandate in-bldg trash storage, plan for schools, etc.). Plan early. Good luck!
@therealboeheim@accnetwork@WesDurham @CoryAlexanderVA Not an easy job at all, but you sounded like a natural, Coach. Really enjoyed the expert analysis and the banter. Congrats!
Jennifer Sherven & Caitlyn O'Neill published @NYLJ "Potential Changes to NYC’s Employment Landscape via ‘Secure Jobs Act’ " discussing bill expanding “just cause” protections for fast-food employees. #employmentlaw#kaufmandolowich https://t.co/jBeq7sHbw1
